Directions to the UCL School of Pharmacy

ARRIVING BY AIR:
 

From Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport is located about 16 miles west of London. The Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station takes 15 minutes with services running every 15 minutes from 05.03am to 00.08am.
 

Another option is to take the tube. Heathrow Airport is on the Piccadilly Line which goes directly to Russell Square Station. The journey takes around 70 minutes.  From Paddington Station, you can transfer to the tube.

National Express also runs coach services to and from Victoria Coach Station in central London, and to other parts of the country. These services also run from all of the other airports.
 

From Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport is located 30 miles south of London. The Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station takes about 30 minutes. From there you can transfer to the tube. First Capital Connect and Southern also serve Gatwick Airport. Services to St Pancras Station on First Capital Connect take approximately 53 minutes, while services on Southern to London Bridge take approximately 38 minutes.
 

From Luton Airport

Luton Airport is located about 31 miles north of London. First Capital Connect has direct trains to Luton Airport Parkway, which is the station that serves the airport. A shuttle bus connects the station to the airport. The train journey to St Pancras takes approximately between 37 and 52 minutes.
 

From Stansted Airport

Stansted Airport is located about 30 miles northeast of London. The Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street Station takes around 40 minutes. From there you can transfer to the tube.

 

ARRIVING BY SEA:
 

Take a British Rail train from the port of entry to London (Harwich to London journey time 1hr 30 mins; Dover to London journey time 2hrs) and then travel by tube to Russell Square Station.

 

ARRIVING BY RAIL:
 

We are conveniently situated for the Eurostar station at St Pancras with excellent links to France, the Benelux countries and beyond. Once you have left the station, take the exit onto Euston Road. Turn right and walk across the front of St Pancras Station to the next corner. This is Judd Street. Cross over the road towards O'Neill's Irish pub (on the right) and walk south down Judd Street. You will pass a small park in a housing estate on your left. Keep walking. The street changes its name from Judd Street to Hunter Street. You will soon come to Brunswick Square. Turn left here and the main entrance to the School will be on your left. This journey takes just under 10 minutes.

LOCAL TRANSPORT

Arriving by Underground tube:

The nearest tube station to the Division is Russell Square which is on the Piccadilly Line.
 

From Russell Square Tube Station:

Turn right out of the station and walk to the roundabout at Brunswick Square. Turn left. Immediately after the Renoir Cinema which is on your left, you will reach a zebra crossing. Cross the road at this point and continue walking in the same direction. Turn right at the first street and UCL School of Pharmacy is the big brick building to your left. This journey takes under five minutes.
 

From King's Cross Station and Tube:

Exit the station onto Euston Road. Turn right and walk across the front of St Pancras Station to the next corner. This is Judd Street. Cross over the road towards O'Neill's Irish pub (on the right) and walk south down Judd Street. You will pass a small park in a housing estate on your left. Keep walking. The street changes its name from Judd Street to Hunter Street. You will soon come to Brunswick Square. Turn left here and the main entrance to the School will be on your left. This journey takes just under 10 minutes.

Arriving by Bus:

The following bus numbers serve Russell Square, which is a short walk from the School: 7, 59, 68, X68, 91, 168 and 188. For any service updates, please check on the Transport for London website.
 

Arriving by Car:

Car parking at The School of Pharmacy is severely restricted and you are advised not to bring a car unless permission has been given. There is a public car park at the nearby Brunswick Centre.
